Totally agree with you here. I was not familiar with his work until "Inglorious Basterds" came along, and I was more than eager to see him in a high-profile movie like "Rush." His performance was masterclass! I think he worked well with Chris Hemsworth too, and I would so love to see them in another movie in the future.

Unfortunately, we do live in a world where the likes of Jonah Hill can easily earn Oscar nods while the likes of Daniel are ignored. 😭
