I never watched any of her earlier shows, and didn't pay much attention to her on 24. Her character seemed kinda low rent, and I didn't 'get' her. But we all were knocked out when she appeared on FNL, and Tammy and Coach became the couple we all loved and believed as a married couple.
Watching her now on American Horror Story, and I can't believe how she glows! I don't know if they enhance the lighting for her, but she looks like a prairie sunset! Or a burning ember, at times. I knew my wife wouldn't like the scary show, but I showed her the scene in the pilot, where she and Dylan were arguing about their relationship. What an impressive scene! Tammy would have been proud of Viv's resilience.
And where's my time machine... she and Lauren Graham once shared an apartment, in their early days. That is a place I wish I had stumbled upon! Sigh
