what happened with her face in the last 10 years?

I've just seen the first half an hour of The Fast and the Furious (2001). I was surprised that it was not Jordana Brewster who played Paul Walker's love interest in it. I expected her but didn't recognize her so I thought I was wrong. I concluded she just took over Mia's role from someone else in the later F&F movies. Then I've checked the cast list and was even more surprised that it was actually Jordana Brewster.

What happened to her face? She looks very different now. I don't know... her lips, her jaw, I'm not sure, but her face has strong, different features now. A possible explanation would be that she lost a lot of weight, but it's impossible as her body figure looks the same. In 2001, her figure was quite thin (thinner than ideal for my taste), but still womanly. Nowadays it's the same. She's quite thin, but still womanly. She's not thinner than she was.

The other explanation would be that she did some plastic surgery. But she's still young, and didn't have any flaws to begin with. No sane reason to go under knife. Again, what happened?

I was thinking the same things. I just couldn't put my finger on it until I looked at her photos from the first F&F movie. think she had a nose job. It bums me out because she was so pretty just the way she was! Hollywood does taks its toll on actors though...I still like her and am glad they used the same girl--I just wish she hadn't changed herself!

I noticed this too. My guess was that maybe she's bulimic? Maybe all the years of vomiting has caused her to look gaunt. She looks like her face is decomposing. I have no idea. I'm just speculating. But we noticed it too. Such a shame cause she was very beautiful before. But now, she looks like a corpse :(

I just watched her in an old episode of "As the World Turns" and she does look different but she was younger her face looked rounder.I think she may have just lost the baby fat in her face with age.

I've never seen any of the "Fast and Furious" films but I also remember her more from the series "Dark blue' when she guest starred in a story arc and then I just watched a clip from an interview she did promoting "Dallas" her face is much fuller on "Dark Blue" in 2009 than it is in the promo video from 2012.

Her cheek bones look really prominent now. I still think she looks attractive, but I think she looked better with the fuller face.

She's definitely Anorexic (or bulimic)... my heart sank when I saw her in FF6. She was extremely pretty in the first movies... now she's losing muscle tone in her thighs. I hope she gets help SOOON before the disease takes over her looks and HEALTH completely

Man i just rewatched the whole series and I thought i must of been tripping. She does look different and it is for the worst. I hope it wasnt plastic surgery because you looked way cuter in the first movie. Not like she is pure ugly or anything now. Im glad someone else saw the difference too.

Yes, sadly she looks anorexic. She is so very thin and her face looks gaunt and sunken.
We definitely lose fat in our faces as we age but hers looks like the face of am anorexic. Its very distracting while trying to watch her on Dallas.
