Love is Love and Matt Bomer

Love is Love is a comic anthology created to honor the victims of the Pulse Night Club shooting in Orlando. The project has more than 200 creators, this is Matt's contribution and just the latest example of why we love him.

2016 has been a hard year. We lost so many greats: Mohamed Ali, Bowie, Prince, Gene Wilder, Harper Lee to name a few. There was Nice, Allepo, and Orlando...a divided nation and talk of registries, bathrooms and walls. Despite all that, it was always a treat and respite to come here and celebrate my favorite actor with fellow travelers and fans, to go to a place to indulge in a bit of fantasy, fun and spirited discussion with people who for the most part enjoyed and respected each other's views. I think Matt has a great deal to do with that, he inspires people in his humble approach to life. He loves his work, raising his family and doing good along the way.

I'm looking forward to what he does and where he goes in 2017. I'll be there rooting for him as always. I'm also looking forward to continuing our discussions here, celebrating our guy and enjoying each other. Happy Holidays.πŸ˜„

He truly inspires people. I love that he always focuses on good in others, always praises them.

Happy holidays back at you. Can't wait to see Matt with Tim DeKay on Tiffani's cooking show Jan 8th.
Matt also starts back to work on The Last Tycoon on the 5th.
Hoping to hear good things when 'Walking Out' premiers at Sundance mid to late January.
Wish he'd done a family photo. He has been pretty quiet and last photo was Halloween. Someone made fun of his eldest in last Christmas photo. Maybe the kids don't want to be exposed.
Wishing his family and all his fans a Merry Christmas.

Hello Maggie and all of you.
I had the same thought that you, that Matt's childrens may not want to be exposed. We know how much Matt is attentive to his childrens and I do not think he imposes something contrary to their will.We Will be happy if we have a picture but if Matt does not post a photo, no worries, we respect Matt and we will understand.

I wish you all a very merry Christmas.

God, 2016 continues to suck. George Michael's death is just so sad, it hit me really hard when I heard the news. He was such a talented man and beautifully emotional singer, Careless Whispers and Father Figure are two of my favorites of his. Gone way too soon. Trying to stay positive and channel Matt, but this makes it a challenge.

To the heart and mind
Ignorance is kind
There's no comfort in the truth
Pain is all you'll find

George Michael age 17

Sadly, the mean spirited and hateful among us continue, have no shame and are even emboldened now. When you think they can't stoop any lower, the bar for decency just drops even more, attacks on children isn't even out of bounds. That being said, I don't think Matt and Simon's decision not to post a Christmas photo has anything to do with what some slime may have said. I'm pretty sure they are raising their boys to be strong young men, self confident and not afraid to stand up to bullies.
