Anyone heard any info about the Montgomery Clift biopic? Since Clift was gay just like Matt Bomer and they look similar I hope it gets made. I know HBO was interested. Does anyone know if a script has been written? Anyone know what is going on with the film?
shareThe project has recently moved to "in development" on Matt's imbd page. A script was delivered by indie film maker Ira Sachs September/ October last year, unfortunately Ira was never on board as director. Maybe there are continuing production issues, other than Ira it's a very inexperienced team or sad to say HBO doesn't think Matt is a big enough name to carry the project.
