While I would've been happy for the boost in her career given the failing of Locke and Key, in all honesty I could not picture her with her clothes off for all those scenes along with the rough sex parts that the character had to display. It's just too weird given that The Tudors is the only other thing that she's known for outside of being the loveable dode from In America.

Just my opinion.

Was Natalie Dormer ever considered for them role of Daenerys? That would have been a huge mistake.

I actually think Emilia Clarke is the perfect Dany, I wouldn't have picked anyone else; she has that mixture of innocence and power that describes Dany.

However, I do wish Sarah would be cast in Games of Thrones. Not sure about who she could portray though, I'm reading the books right now since I was introduced to the fandom through the series. :D

If HBO decides to do a prequel season I think Sarah would be the perfect Lyanna Stark. Honestly, when I first read Lyanna's description in the books Sarah was the first actress that came to mind.
