Um really? He doesn't want to change his accent to be in a movie? Isn't it the whole point of acting to be someone else? To transform into whatever character you need to be? Just my opinion but that is a weird thing for an actor to say.

All of the great blockbuster actors out there are talented/succesful because they portray themselves. It's their unique personalities that attract audiences. Acting is all about being natural. When you act like yourself, that's natural.
