Should be in Fast Five

I have fond memories of Sling Blade and just recently watched Tokyo Drift, but all I have heard is rumors about Lucas Black and his involvement in Fast Five.

He has done some good work, and it would be a shame not to have him in the film.

Why?
I mean not that I hated it but it was pretty much the "spin off" of the series, held together by one tiny little string at the end and like some guys that were *kinda* related to some other guys in the first film as I understand it...it was pretty much a stand alone story.
I'm not saying he should NOT be in it, just that I can understand why he's not.
I just hope f5 is WAAAY better than #4 was, that was just all kinds of pathetic.

Fast Five Chronologically takes place after 4 but before 3. So in regards to Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, setting a side personal thoughts on the quality of the movie, story, acting, etc.. Sung Kang (Han) dies in F&F:TD, and Sung Kang didnt know Lucas Black (Sean) before this movie, so Lucas Black could have never appeared in 5. And at the very best, they could have put him in for a 2 second cameo in a scene that Sung Kang is not in. Don't get me wrong, I am fan of the 3rd film. I didn't mind Lucas Black. Sung Kang is one of my favorites of the series. it just wouldn't make sense to have them meet in 5.

I wondered about his omission too.... because he is the only one missing.

But JIDavis is right.... Han is killed in "Drift", so if Han is in this one, it obviously takes place before it and would make no sense to have Lucas's character in it.

I will miss seeing him. He and his BAMA accent are so unique.

Han was one of my favorite characters in "Drift", so I'm looking forward to seeing him.

I would like to see an older Sean and Neela in the 6th movie. Just have everything wrapped up and bring them into the franchise "officially". Sean reminds me of a younger version of Dom and Brian. He seems to get into trouble like Brian did when he was younger and he grew up a gear head and is into muscle cars like Dom. He stands up for himself and doesn't back down. He used to drive recklessly like Brian still does but is capable of being skillful like Dom is. He can be goofy and a smart-ass but also silent and brooding.

I agree with Opteron. It would be great to do a 6 with a way to "hand off" the franchise so-to-speak.
