Amazing performance in Get Low

I loved Lucas in Friday Night Lights, but was concerned that he might not be able to break out beyond that role. He was perfect in Get Low. In some ways, he even steals the film. Excellent job as a supporting cast member in this one.

I think what you are saying is true. I saw previews of Get Low at the theater and wanted to rent it because of Lucas Black.

He looked familiar and I thought his role while understated seemed funny too.

So I really rented it not for the main stars but for the supporting actor who yes, steals the show.

I thought he was great in "Get Low" as well, but Bill Murray stole the film for me. :-)
