I also live in hartselle...A friend was a manager at a local retail store, and once asked for proper identification on lucas writing a check. My friend did this because it is his job to get a number on all checks, but also because the District Manager was visiting. Black said he felt insulted and asked if it was some kind of joke...also another friend thinks he might have pushed him in pond when they were kids...
