Best friend met him

Lucas lives in Columbia, Missouri, where I went to college 2 years ago. Many of my friends still live there and see him around Columbia a lot.

He came into the bar my best friend works at. It's a small pizza place where he knows the owner. She said he came in from playing golf and sat at her bar. She said he was very nice and polite, and you would never have known he was a famous actor. Although he only ordered a Sprite (lol).

She also told me that his accent is very much real.

Just thought I'd share with all the Lucas Black fans (as I am one myself). It's good to see a normal, genuine person who is in the movie industry.

It was so refreshing to read this about him. We have just loved him ever since seeing him in Sling Blade and All the Pretty Horses. (now I have tried to see everything he's done...thank goodness for this website!!!)

He is such a natural, unaffected actor...and, for me, his accent is one of my favorite things about him. I'm originally from the south, and I can spot a phony accent a mile away - some of the hugest stars try really hard at it and fail (the worst is Susan Sarandon...give it up Susan...you just can't do it). My favorite movie of all time is To Kill A Mockingbird because it's such a darn good movie (Like Sling Blade) and because of Scout and Jeb..such natural accents and actors...but Gregory Peck (who I love as an actor ) just did not get the accent right.

This young man should be so busy he can't think straight - he's so good.

I'm tickled he lives in the midwest - and Columbia is such a pretty city...thanks so much for sharing this.

I work at a very popular restaurant at Lake of The Ozarks Missouri where he came into tonight. He'd been golfing with his friends. I recognized him immediately and chatted w him and got his autograph. He was very friendly and polite. Looks just like and sounds like he does in his movies. Love his accent. What a cutie!!!!

Love this guy's accent. I saw him years ago in a show called American Gothic and then just watched a movie called Legion and I recognized him immediately. He's a great actor hope to see him in more and more stuff.

If you love someone, set them free. If they come back, nobody else wanted them either.
