Is he going to be in Fast + Furious 7b

I've seen a couple trailers for the upcoming movie, but have yet to catch a glimpse of him in any of them. imdb has him listed as being an actor in the new movie, but i'm wondering if he's fully in the movie at some point, or is it just archive shots from Tokyo Drift.

well... it was confirmed that he signed a deal to star in the next 3 F&F films (althought that was before Paul Walker died). At first, I wondered why he was not in the trailer too, but he may have a fairly small role, where he gets introduced near the end of the film. If you think about it, Han was just killed at the end of the last film, and it was likely quite some time (a month or even a year) after Hans death before Dom finally showed up to race Sean in the parking garage at the end of Tokyo Drift. (I say that because he seemed very comfortable and settled in as the new drift king or "DK" in that scene). I'm guessing that this film will primarily take place between Han's death and that final Tokyo Drift scene where Dom shows up to race Sean in he parking garage, with some, if any of the film taking place afterwards.

That is just my guess, but I suppose the entire film could take place after the last scene in Tokyo Drift. If that is the case, the Sean could already be out of high school, and could play a more significant role, if not it will be weird having a high school kid as part of their team flying around the globe dropping cars from planes and blowing $#!+ up.

Just saw the movie, he only has a small scene with Vin Diesel.

Starts out reusing the end scene from Tokyo Drift followed by new footage of Sean and Dom talking after their drift race.

Needless to say, Black was too old to play a high schooler in 2006... if they decide to make more movies and use his character they definitely need to retcon the or even erase the high school part.

They can't just erase the whole high school part out of the franchise, it wouldn't work, but i've been thinking. What if they have Fast 8 take place 5 or 10 years down the line when he's out of high school? It would explain why he looks older at least.

Fear not the darkness, but welcome its embrace.
