Career is about to blow up

With Paul Walker's death, the F&F franchise (which only seems to grow in commercial profitability) will need a rugged white dude with a heart of gold to fill that void. Since Lucas is already a part of the franchise, he's definitely about to see his star rise with the 8th and 9th films.

Comic relief - Tyrese, Ludacris
Muscleheads - Rock, Vin Diesel
Hot chicks - MRodriguez, Jordana
White dude - Lucas

Might sound cruel, but everyone's bad luck is almost always someone else's good luck. It's how the universe maintains order and balance.

It's sad but true maybe that's why the rumors started about first murder of PW and then fake death. Ridiculous! !

R.i.p Paul Walker you will be missed.
An Angel flew up to the sky Stopped and says this not goodbye, just a standby. (Kimberly 2013)

I can see him picking up the lead "white" guy role. Only thing is I figure Jordana will get written out after 7.

Conquer your fear, and I promise you, you will conquer death.

Looks like he is going to be on NCIS New Orleans, as a Special Agent. He will be one of the "four core"

...and yet he took a job on an NCIS show on CBS. That's practically waving the white flag and embracing a comfy early retirement from being a movie star. I hope his contract has some room for him to quit...

Says on imdb that he's signed on to do the next fast and furious.

I hope Lucas Black does make a huge comeback to this franchise if it continues! Who says he can't do tv and movies at the same time?!

Love that signature message.

Agreed since story line is that Mia & Brian left for the safety of Brian. So that Dom's nephew & niece grow up with both parents. Loved the way they wrote Brian out. Every woman at that movie had a wad of napkins waiting for Brian to die. Tho the stars couldn't hear. The entire 250 seat cinema were on our feet clapping.
