Talented Actor - Love that he is selective in his films

I think because Black is so selective in his work he will last far longer in film than people expect. Being selective makes it hard on his fans but also gives us something to look forward to -- I think he needs another agent though as there have been several roles that he would have been ideal for that I don't think a casting director would have passed over him -- and that he would have accepted. Interesting that he chose a small town in Missouri to call home -- hope he takes time to fish some of the great bass lakes they have!!

He's a dreadful actor. A one dimensional putrid actor who wouldn't have any work if not for Billy Bob. His lack of talent and skill is one reason why he's doing tv now instead of feature film leads. The sad part? So many great actors out there who struggle paying rent! I mean "great" actors, struggling.

I think he's good. It feels like he's able to play his roles well off of his accent.

You do know if you only play yourself, you're not an actor, right? He literally won't take a role where he can't play himself. That means he's not an actor. Which sucks, because until I learned that about him, I thought he'd make a great Gambit in X-MEN.

He is a great actor

He's great at playing Lucas Black

What do u mean by selective?

reply

Horrible actor and the reason he's so selective with his roles is because he can't do that much

reply

Don't know why people say he's a "horrible" actor or "the worst." He isn't super great, but he's passable and those that say otherwise are greatly exaggerating, clearly they've never actually seen truly awful films. Still, when I was watching him in Tokyo Drift it looked like he was always about to crack a smirk, even during the serious scenes. It kept making me laugh.
