I never liked this guy in anything, but I am watching The View now and while I am not sure he could pull off the portrayal vocally/personality, but I can “see” him in the role as Dom DeLuise if such a role surfaced.

I liked DeLuise. He was funny and did some good work but nothing strikes me as biopic worthy about him.

i wasn’t particularly thinking of a bio-pic about HIM. Rather one that included him, like a Mel Brooks bio, a Johnny Carson pic etc where “DeLuise” had a scene.

Dominick DeLuise (August 1, 1933 – May 4, 2009) was an American actor, comedian and author. Known primarily for comedy roles, he rose to fame in the 1970s as a frequent guest on television variety shows.

Beg to differ. DeLuise rose to fame as a guest on variety shows like Johnny Carson. Jack Black is a film actor. Black beats DeLuise.
