he was so young back then, so I was thinking maybe his parents were in the entertainment industry but then I found out they weren't so how did he get that role when he was only 15 years old?

that's absolutely unbelievable. I can not believe he was in that commercial. and in 1982!!! unreal. that was so surreal seeing his little face in that commercial. how does you tube have a commercial that is that old??? it's true you tube has every video non porn ever made as long as it's not that long.
shareYes, I love being able to find lost relics such as this and to share the Jack Black love. :) People that don't get him need to lighten up; he's a jester. And he really is tenacious, he is now given the chance to play other roles, roles I never would have suspected; great range and talent, definitely one of my favorites.
Another thread got me wondering about the first times I saw JB. Which led me back to the first time I really 'got him'; Mr Show & Tenacious D, of course.
