What's up with all these Haters?

If you don't like something on TV, change the channel (or turn it off and expand your mind in a book, or go for a walk...)

Don't like a movie or actor, OK, but why spew so much venom about? (Envious?)

Everyone has an opinion and that's cool. Just don't lose your cool over this stuff, it's only entertainment.

Jack is just out there doing his thing the best he knows how, like you, me, or anybody. So cool your heels (you heels!)

Yeah I dunno why people waste their time to complain on the internet, no one really cares what they think anyway. Jack Black is a fantastic human being and a very good actor.

Yeah, I've looked at the IMDB pages for Black, Seth Rogen & Jonah Hill lately and the posts are horrid, like these guys are going to be the cause of an apocalypse or something (check our Rogen's page especially--folks there are ready to lynch him or something.) Heck, I don't see that they are doing anything to hurt anybody. I enjoy their work.

ETA: It's Jonah, not Joshua--I guess my CRS is kicking in.

This slovenly one note bore of party animal hipness transferred to stories outside of laid back slacker cool are inept and totally out of place. Black headlines these days but would be reduced to minor status in bygone eras when film wasn't so sophomoric in form and content. King Kong really exposed how bad he is in a roll that takes place outside of 1980 and Tenacious D gave us juvenal originality fit for cellars and backyard barbecues get togethers.

I realize School of Rock must have been the way coolest movie with man/child Black putting pompous adults in their place but children it's time to grow up even if the tubby funny man never does.

I Think it is mostly how they look,and alot of people are so shallow they cant accept someone who is not skinny or "hot" make it.and the extreme hate comes from the same mindset as bullies or popular kids in hs.

There's hate on just about any page on IMDB, it's the way of the internet for some reason unfortunately. I'll take what you've said a step further, comedians in-particular seem to get hated on something chronic on here.

Personally I don't know how anyone can be bothered hanging around people's boards/films just to hate. You don't like a film/actor,just move on to something you do like. Imo people who do hate/troll have some deep rooted issues.
