Why? I don't get this "whispering" thing. Tony whispering, Jack whispering, it does nothing for me except it makes it harder to understand their lines. If they would just speak up and speak clearly it would be an improvement.

shareWhen Tony whispers it makes me want to hear more of what he has to say since he and Jack are almost like brothers or twins, being good badasses for the sake of their country. I take what Tony has to say just as credible as what Jack says because both are obviously always out to find the truth even if it means pretending to be villains. Tony always looks like he knows what's going on and knows more than he lets us to believe but can't say anything or he'll jeopardize whatever mission he's on.
shareWhy? Because I LIKE the way it sounds. Why the hell else would I put up a nice post about it? Both of those characters get loud if they have to, both of those characters talk regular tone or talk softly, when the bloody scene calls for it. Everything doesn't always have to be LOUD for you to understand it. Put the captions on if you have such a hard time understanding what people on 24 say.

I think it's a good think. Some deeper lines sound better. Eg, in season 2 when Tony is questioning Razor. Razor says something like "I want a lawyer". Tony shakes his head and says "..No" is a deep voice. It works!
