She has been doing an awful lot of low-budget horror flicks recently. I wonder if she's doing this intentionally because she loves horror or if she's just desperate for work.

Many actresses who are in a lot of horror flicks complain about being "typecast" or that they can't get anything else, so it's good to hear that she actually likes them herself. Thanks for the response.

Well, she does, but she's also said recently (a few times) that she wants to do other projects than horror and take a break, unfortuntely I think she sticks to them because they are easy to get. She has done a couple drama's recently though, which is good, well, we'll have to see if they are good lol

To be honest, I think she only does them because they're easy for her to get. It doesn't take a ton of talent to do most horror films. For many female roles in horror, you just have to look pretty and scream well. Plus, she's famous, so most low budget indie horror movies would probably cast her in a heartbeat because it will give them better publicity. And I think she says she enjoys doing horror movies in interviews because it makes her look good. It's like a job interview in a way. You don't really like waiting tables, but you say you do because you need the work. Haha.

She should go back full time into TV, where I feel she's more comfortable, or where her talent feels more comfortable.
It's a shame TBL was cancelled, I liked it and she was good in it, I think she's be great in another TV show.
I don't think she has much of a choice with doing all these low budget bad movies because I think they're the only projects being offered to her right now, unfortunately. I think she would be good on a TV show too. She shouldn't do something like TBL or The OC again though. She's too old for the teen fanfare. She should do something like American Horror Story. Although I'm sure TV would be super demanding for her schedule because she'd have to be on set for like 6-8 months at a time, and she would be working around the clock. She's trying to run a boutique in London, right? I'd imagine that would be hard to do while you're on a TV show. Who knows though. She doesn't seem to really care that she isn't doing high profile/mainstream movies/TV shows anymore. I think she's just happy to be working consistently.
