That stereotype is 95% of gay men. The media tells us the majority are really reserved normal guys who are almost indistinguishable from straight men. But that's complete bullshit.

That is my experience and I live in a rather big town, not a city but I've lived in cities at different points. Odd how flamboyant all the guys are at gay pride parades, it's hard to believe that's a minority of the demographic, or they just let loose once in a while.
