Ran out of steam?
Apatow did a great job with 40 year old virgin and Knocked Up. He has some good stuff with Undeclared and Freaks and Geeks too. But, funny people was uneven and This is 40 is just boring.
Maybe his humor just isn't fresh anymore.
It is kinda sad since 40 year old virgin is one of my favorite comedies of all time.
