Judd Apatow Nepotism needs to be STOPPED!

Perhaps I'm bitter at the overly long by 45 minutes Funny People, but I'm really sick of Judd sticking his wife and children down our throats. They were great as minimal supporting characters in Knocked Up, but it seems that Leslie Mann (his wife) has gotten stars in her eyes and wants to become a major Hollywood headliner as is threatening him with divorce if he stops putting her into his movies.

I do not watch Apatow films to watch a 10 minute home video of your kids (Maude) elementary school rendition of Cats. She's a good singer, but sticking in Funny People is such a contrived attempt at boosting Maude's film career is cheezy, lame, and pathetic.

Now, This is 40, Leslie gets her own attempt at headlining a major movie, and she plays the same obnoxious, annoying, unpleasant, angry, and not funny wife. Then he gives even more screen time to his stupid kids badly acting out a stupid disagreement.

I can't believe the studios pay him and his family to do this, but perhaps he got them to do it for free, just to give his family SAG health insurance.

End Nepotism Now, and give some actual poor struggling actor a chance, and not some spoiled rich children roles in your movies.

Oh yeah, I'm sick of seeing Leslie's fake-nude breasts, show the real thing or don't show them at all. It looks fake and amateurish.

You need to learn how to properly insult someone. Your sarcasm is weak and "homo" isn't really considered an insult anymore.

Maybe you'll be better at it once you hit puberty.

I agree! I'm sick of seeing his family in every movie he makes. I don't care if they're his movies, no one else cares about them.

To be fair, Leslie was an actress before she met Judd. IF he writes with her in mind, I don't feel there is a difference between that and Coen's putting in Frances McDormand in roles.

Incidentally (and even though I didn't feel it was all that funny), "The Other Woman" with Leslie as the main character, earned a ton of $. Whether it's her, Cameron or Kate Upton, I think audiences do respond to her.

Technically there's no difference. But the Coens usually make good movies and Frances McDormand acts well in her roles.
