Except that everything Stallone has written or directed in the last 30 years has been crap. I'd rather see Adkins keep working with Hyams, Florentine or better yet, some good Hong Kong directors.

I can agree with you there, Stallone could produce a film or two and definitely help promote Adkins. I really think his acting is holding him back though, when his fans talk about him being Batman, it's easy to picture it physically but I don't think his acting range could carry it. I loved him in Day of Reckoning, but in that film he was basically a clueless dude fresh out of a coma and just had to go between bewildered and pissed for 90 minutes and it worked. I think Hyams also directed him well and is good at directing to his actors strengths and weaknesses.

I do wish Adkins well, he is a great physical talent and as such his movies really stand out.

I didn't mean to be so harsh, btw. I'm just not big on Stallone, lol. Apart from still being a big box office draw around the world, I always thought he ruined anything he had creative input to. His early stuff like Rocky and Nighthawks is cool, but he got big and then it was all vanity projects from there. I would love to see him do more stuff like Copland and Escape Plan.

But hey what do I know, I'm a big Uwe Boll fan after all . We like what we like!

I disagree with scum adkins is the full package he just needs a vehicle to show is acting range especially compared to statham and jaa and so on adkins should not have to prove anything more to the big wigs in Hollywood he has reinvented martial arts cinema in the u.s alone with Isaac florentine it's ashame they won't give these guys a budget to kill it
