Finally!
Superman was actually popular once and I think DC and Warner Brothers have mismanaged the character for decades. I don't want to see a rehash of the Richard Donner film but enough with the neck-snapping sad boy with the hairy chest.
I remember when movie news was exciting and not depressing.

Honestly, I thought he directed more than he did. Lots of things he produced were in my memory as directed by him (like the Cloverfield line, which I enjoy). I feel done with him at this point. Don't plan on seeing the next Star Wars nor Trek.
I thought Star Trek was alright, but I thought the sequel was pretty bad. I think the only film of his that I really enjoyed was Cloverfield which I thought was excellent.
shareSee, I thought JJ directed that too but he only produced it. Matt Reeves directed it. Crazy how JJ managed to step in front of his directors for credit when so much of what he is known he just produced (he has producer credit for TLJ too).
