She's a slight notch above Julie Bowen. Because of JB's character (on a show I don't watch), she isn't hot, but just in sheer looks she's very pretty. I think Banks is about as attractive as a woman can get without really going for the extremely sexy angle. I suppose Penelope Cruz at her best is/was the most gorgeous woman in H-wood currently.
