What is your favorite theme by him?

No posts for Mike Post... until now. He's awesome!

He just has so many great TV themes to his credit. If I had to choose only one, I'd probably choose "The Rockford Files" theme. But what a talented person he is!

Little bit of trivia about Mike Post...he wrote the "horns interlude"/"middle part" of Mason Williams' tremendous instrumental "Classical Gas." When Tommy Smothers passed away, I read an account of a conversation between Smothers and Post. Smothers told Post that "Classical Gas" would never be a hit because of the middle section. Thankfully, Post held his ground and "Classical Gas" became a "classic!" The greatness of Mike Post was on display even then.
