Actresses and directors associated with him should be pressured to return their awards...

From the beginning there was huge pressure to return the money donated by Weinstein to politicians, but no calls on those actresses to return the numerous awards associated with his films that he essentially bought for them in exchange for sex? You'll notice that he wasn't helping male actors to win awards. Wonder why? There should be pressure on every actress or director associated with Weinstein to return their Oscars and other awards. Lawrence, Streep, Paltrow etc....

Absolutely right. What a farce that was. Some people really believe that Paltrow wouldn't bang Weinstein to win an Oscar? Pfft.

another thing is don't sports win/medals get revoked if they are found to be cheats later on (Lance Armstrong) and accolades/titles/knighthoods get stripped for those who do criminal behaviour so maybe it should happen in with Oscars (i.e. Harveys most 'Harvey' movies like SiL)

In a situation not too dissimilar, the NCAA stripped Penn State of a huge number of wins and Bowl victories because of Sandusky being allowed to get away with what he was doing for so long. He was just one of many coaches and yet the whole team was punished to set an example.

It should be the same for any film associated with Weinstein. Every award should be rescinded. Instead the same people who protected Weinstein are shielding these actresses and directors from criticism here.

However, that is unlikely to happen.

In our world, you could have some total whore win an award, get ahead by lying, etc and you would look "bad" outing her and taking her award.

Correct?

What will happen is a lot of these women will just be blacklisted and disappear.

I doubt it. All of them are shamelessly lying about their relationships with him. Streep saying she barely knew him despite working together for years and he's got his hands all over Jennifer Lawrence and Michelle Williams and they claim nothing happened. It's a joke.

I'm sure he wasn't fucking everyone.

He probably picked women who aren't connected to anyone he knows that's important. For instance, if Streep is friends with his golfing buddy Morty Feldstein, he's not going to fuck streep in the ass so she can be in a movie. She will tell Morty who will tell Weinstein's mom, etc. He probably targeted women who don't know people and aren't going to tell but rather see having sex with him as a lottery they won and won't talk about.

So, some of them probably aren't lying.

Do you believe Meryl Streep didn't know about what he was doing for all those decades? So it's hard to know for sure. It's said in Hollywood that her husband isn't the father of any of her children. I certainly wouldn't take for granted that Weinstein didn't bang her. But as far as I know, he never told anyone that he did.

On the other hand, he bragged about banging Paltrow and Lawrence and given how he went out of his way to help them win awards, I certainly believe it.

How much coke and other drugs has Streep likely done?

Their personas are fake. I doubt she is "classy" because she's good at pretending to be other people. There's nice actors I'm sure and there's sober ones, but man, these people are typically involved in a lot of shit.

They live like people on welfare. There is no reason to do anything normal because they have unlimited resources.

They should be publically outed and talked about in the media.

I remember George Clooney was asked about women winning Oscars due to this stuff. In his typical sarcastic manner, he said something, while rolling his eyes, "I can't imagine someone doing something unethical like that. But, if an actress did do that, she should never work again, right?" and he looked like he knew all about it and hated it.

I also heard a hilarious interview with the famous singer Tom Jones.

He was a guy from a small mining town and noticed that he could sing in an Elvis range. He was like, I'm going to do this singing thing and get out of this town!

So, he did and he said that when he got into the business there were all of these homosexuals. He got extremely worried that he was going to be expected to have sex with them in order to succeed. They didn't ask him though, and although he thought they were weird, everything was okay.

Meanwhile, there have been gay managers and stuff that pressured kids to have sex with them. Justin Timberlake had amanager who looked like the biggest pedo ever, and was.

It's not illegal to make shady deals, it's unethical.

I just want to know what the real evidence is in the case. My bias is that I believe all of these people are snakes and perverts, as I've said.

When votes are involved it's always a political process. That doesn't mean 8500 academy voters don't have minds of their own.

You could have the best funded Oscar campaign and still lose. It's naive to think one man could dictate the winner.

The whole system is a joke. How many of those 8500 voters do you think watch all the movies?

It's all politics. It's how people Patricia Arquette win all the time. Or anyone outspoken about politics.
