saw her an Oceana event, her bio is all about her acting + not Oceana

I agree about the net worth she claims to have made from movies couldn't be that much. However, unfortunately she may have made a lot of money from modeling. Yes, modeling where it takes no talent and no brains to pose, where hundreds of thousands are spent in make up and hair and all of the pics are always, but always air brushed which changes the real person into a flawless person.

I was actually at an Oceana speech today in Santa Monica and Amber and Ted Danson were there. Ted Danson apparently began his own version of Oceana years ago and then merged with the current Oceana. This is the cause of protecting our oceans and addressing the high mercury levels that are affecting the fish and therefore us, if we eat fish.

Back to millions she claims to have made, I think it is really ostentatious to brag on IMDB about one's millions net worth. Most actors of notable stature like say Ted Danson known from television or say Tom Cruise from film don't brag and tell us their net worth. And on IMDB the actor or their agent, manager, publicist is responsible for what gets typed into the trivia section, so she does have control over whether or not her net worth is typed in. Lets hope since Amber has all of that money, she contributes some of it to Oceana the cause she lends her celeb name and time to, as well as victims of Katrina and Rita and now this impending latest Hurricane category 5 Wilma if it comes on shore to Florida as they think it may by this weekend.

It is as if someone is saying they are better than someone else to choose to be public with their net worth of millions, when they choose to announce their net worth. I mean does her supposed high net worth make her a better actress? Models turned actresses with no training and just a name are nothing special. Is she involved in Oceana because she really cares or is it an opportunity to seem like a compassionate, caring person that will add to her acting career now that she is acting and not just a model? Give me a break!

Let me add the folder of Oceana material they handed out to the public, had a bio for her. All of it was all about her acting credits and modeling. Only the last two sentences speak of the cause of Oceana. Isn't the purpose to educated and convert the public to their cause of saving the ocean, not brag about her & try to what get her another acting job? It could very well be BS about all of these millions she claimed to be worth. I mean it is not like any of us can prove or disprove such a statement. I think Oceana has chosen the wrong spokesperson for this job. In other interviews about Oceana by her, all she talks about again is her modeling, acting and how she once dated Leonardo DiCaprio how it helps to date someone famous. She is too dumb and her agent for some reason isn't telling her that when interviewed about Oceana or any cause she claims to really care about, to talk more about the cause, educate and inform people instead of babble on about herself. At age 31 you would think she would know better. But hey modeling school isn't exactly college and if that is the extent of her education, no wonder she said acting is so hard. They had to hire a coach for her on movie sets, untrained person that she is, because it was hard to laugh and cry on cue.

"However, unfortunately she may have made a lot of money from modeling."

Why is that unfortunate? Why are you having such a problem with other people and their success? You sound very bitter, as if you think life owes you something, when clearly you're just not good looking enough or talented enough to make it in the business--so you spend your time prowling IMDB talking smack about people that have made it.
How sad.

Unfortunately "ragreen 259" you cannot see beyond your pointy nose and star struck gazing.
My post was about the cause of Oceana, something that escapes your brain, this is about the mercury pollution in our oceans that affects all of us, even you.

Thanks for the cheap shots about my looks. You have no idea who I am or what I look like. You sound bitter and uneducated to me, since you were nasty enough to accuse me of being bitter I accuse you back. I just shot a co-starring role on Chris Rock's new sitcom, "Everybody Hates Chris". Gee wonder what your job, your "career", your bliss is? What did you do of worth today in the world? What gives you the right to say nasty things about me, who you will never know or meet? Just because I don't agree with you, you call me unattractive and not successful? You must have a ton of friends, NOT!

What do you do for work, defender of models? What I was speaking about was this model, this celeb who has hooked up with a worthy, very important cause and seemed to be using this to promote her acting career. That is shameful and wrong. We are all going to be hurt by the pollution in the ocean and we are already suffering from it and from global warming, that is why the horror of Katrina happened. Did you know this, can you even understand what I am saying to you?

Ted Danson who is one of the founders of this group, is famous and successful and knows a great deal about this issue. He cared about this issue before he was famous and isn't using it to promote his career. Long ago he and Oceana merged, since they both began separately and Mr. Danson when famous lent his name and support to this. That escaped you too. Although I know I wrote this in my post, you seemed to have ignored it entirely or just are unable to read it.

Apparently you troll around these boards to protect and adore models. Just what kind of odd little weird life is that? Now there is a cause to get behind defend models turned actress who become involved in a cause to further their career. You must have some wonderful little world that you exist in. You missed the whole point of my post and yet made the time to insult me. I can only imagine the "lucky" people in your life when they don't agree with you.
