I agree. My sister and I both thought she was pretty HI-larious on Beakman's World. Got us to keep watching. When her replacement came, it was like, "Aw, what happened?"

Yeah nothing mentions that she was Josie on Beakmans world.
I always thought she was cute back then, and now I just saw here in the HBO show Hung and almost had a heart attack (in a good way).

LOVED her in Beakman's World. Totally agree with you on the replacement. The show kinda lost it's magic after Ubach left.

Senta Moses was good, but Alanna had something really unique and special. A natural inclination towards comedy that served the show well. Imagine my shock of seeing her in the dramatic role of a Latina gang banger in "Freeway!" Even with her comedic skills, she could realistically pull off playing a bad customer. She's got talent. And a great work ethic. 😀
