oh god, excuses excuses, that has nothng to do with it. she's going nuts and naomi watts is laughing and okay, and she TELLS NAOMI WATTS *beep* YOU. god she is just so rude and inconsiderate of other people. stop making excuses.

I wish I hadn't watched the footage now because I'd always sort of liked Lily up until I saw it. I remember cracking up as a kid, watching her in 9 to 5 with Jane Fonda and Dolly Parton.

The director was out of line, too, but I'm betting his blow up was a reaction to her continually embarassing him in front of the entire crew by cursing at him. (And also at the other actors.)

She came off as a Grade A BITCH in that footage!

You have to realise that they were in that car for over five hours shooting a scene when even the director didn't even know what he wanted from it. I would have been that upset too, had I had to stay there that long. And Dustin Hoffman had a sense of humour towards it (as I'm sure Naomi Watts did), as they too knew where she was coming from. This was just a tension-filled, angry day on the set, and I certainly don't think this little fight should stop you from watching Lily's other movies.
