I second your opinion on her talents and strongly disagree with the comment that Newsradio was mediocre. In the sense that it really hasn't developed a cult following, it may be one of the most underrated shows I've seen!

shareCompletely agree! That person obviously has no brains! News Radio was one of the best comedies ever to be on TV! It is one of the only shows that have actually truly made me laugh out loud really hard and not alot of shows can do that believe me, I watch alot of TV! :)
shareNewsradio might not have had the viewers that other shows did, but it sure was great! They have seasons 1-4 on hulu now, so I've been re-watching it a lot lately. Love that show! Wonderful ensemble cast where everybody contributed to the overall greatness. And Maura is a beautiful and talented actress that I don't see enough of.
shareTotally agree! NewsRadio was/is one of the best TV comedies EVER. I'll defend that comment to the death! Ok, not really. But it's one of my top 5 all-time faves & MT (& the entire cast really) is one the best aspects of the show.

I was easily able to convince IMDB to take that stupid line out of the bio that guy wrote, many months ago.
Hopefully, this thread/topic can now die off into the background, and we can pretend this ridiculousness never even existed...
