Fired from 2 projects. Problem?

She says "Kirk Cameron and I didn't make a "good match" re:failed Tv pilot.
And dropped from a Bruce Willis film because of 'creative differences'.

Maura originates from Boston(surrounding),as I do. You have to be there...some hoity-toity stuff in her persona?
And why does her imdb bio say "a compelling beauty"? Right

reply

Hmmm. don't like her do you? That's okay, you don't have to like everybody, seriously.

The Bruce Willis film didn't get made because of creative differences between Bruce Willis and those involved in the movie. Maura was not involved in the issues between them and just wanted to get out of the movie asap.

Kirk Cameron has difficultly working with a lot of people because of his extremely strong Christian values. I am not surprised they were not a good match because of her Boston personality. She probably said a curse word and he freaked out.

Anyway....when you read about her, the main majority of people say she is extremely nice and very easy to work with. However, I have read one or two things about her that have not been so nice. But they were not reliable and most likely that are just haters, which everyone has.

^^^ I second this. It would've been disturbing if she HAD stayed aboard the Cameron gig *shiver*

She wasn't fired from the Bruce Willis film, the "creative differences" were between Willis and the director and producers. If you read quotes from Variety during the filming, everyone who worked on it sang Maura's praises.

Kirk Cameron is widely known as having extreme views and not easy to work with, just look at where he is now in the business and that says it all. Maura, on the other hand is considered a dream to work with, just ask anyone who worked on ER, she was beloved by cast and crew.

Ok, I believe you,thanks

Let's just take everything you say as true, or the clarifications posted by others here as true. She's what, 46 or so? Been in the business for more than a quarter-century. And somebody, somewhere, has noted "difficulties" with how many projects? Two?

She strikes me as just a little shy and more privately inclined than other in-demand actors, but then, I have no problem with Boston Irish anyway, having a few relatives in that category and all.

As for "compelling beauty," well...you do realize a lot of people think so whether you do or not, right? Not that you have to think that way, of course, but the point is it's not surprising the IMDB bio would say so.

did I mention 'Irish'?

reply

No, but I did, because she is. Notably.

I love it how in the infomercials he's in he says he was afraid of the black people. If you are really Christian, you'd never be afraid.

No, I'm laughing with you not at{against} you!
