I'm surprised that nobody else has mentioned this, but I find her lips to be so distracting on The Affair.
She's developed a trout pout, most likely due to some sort of surgery. How unfortunate!

shareI've been a huge fan of Ruth Wilson's for years and her lips have always been like that. She might have an unusual looking mouth, but it doesn't look unnatural like Maura's. She never had those lips in ER.

So you think Maura's had some kind of cosmetic surgery thing or collagen injections to her mouth? She just looks to me like she is mugging for the camera with that weird things she does with her mouth where she puckers them outward somehow. Weird looking.

shareThis drives me absolutely crazy, it’s very distracting and obnoxious. Someone must have told her at some point it was cute or endearing...it’s not. She’s done it since ER before that idk. Thank you for saying this, I thought I was the only one who noticed.
Side note Keira Knightly does this weird nose pinch/pout that’s equally annoying.
