I've actually only seen Hilary in the one film, Million Dollar Baby, but I loved her performance and I think she definitely deserved the oscar.
Anyway my question is, what films should I watch next of hers? They can either be great Swank performances or just good films, or ideally both. She doesn't seem to be in too many films with high ratings on IMDB, but obviously ratings aren't everything and I may like them.

You are so right. Million Dollar Baby was the film that caught my attention. The chemistry between Hilary and Clint Eastwood was amazing. Before that movie, I hardly knew who she was. I've seen many of her films since but two that I really liked was "Freedom Writers" where she played real life teacher Erin Gruwell who taught a class of mixed ethnic groups, misfits, and gang members. I thought she was oscar material for that role but that's just my opinion. It's all subjective.
If you like bittersweet lite comedy, "P.S. I Love You" is another good one. I thought she did an awesome job in that film as well.

Obviously, Boys Don't Cry, her first Oscar. And Insomnia was very good. For a trash movie, see The Resident. She's very attractive in this one, but it's a bad movie.
