Which character in THE HILLS HAVE EYES is Lynn? (SPOILERS)

I hadn't seen Vinessa Shaw in a movie in a while. When I saw THE HILLS HAVE EYES, I wasn't aware that she was in it until the credits rolled. The I saw that she is listed as playing "Lynn" No one in the movie was called by that name frequently enough to give her name-recognition for me. So who was Lynn? And was she one of the ones killed by the mutants. Or the girl who survived at the end?

she played the young mother of the baby and was the oldest daughter of the family.

In the original, she is played by Dee Wallace Stone- big shoes to fill!
