How is that possible? he doesn't even have a Golden Globe nom? his acting is phenomenal

it would take a very powerful role, but in todays hollywood i think hes still seen as a character actor only. brad dourif is an actor in the same vein as sam, but his only nomination came in 1976 for Cuckoos Nest.

If time is not true, what purpose have watchmakers?

He should have been nominated for an Oscar for Moon, at the very least. Frankly, I'm a little surprised that he wasn't. He's the only actor on screen for almost the entire duration of the film, playing dual roles -- the Academy eats that sh!te up.
