The royalties, etc. from his likeness being used as Daryl Dixon belong to AMC. I doubt he sees any money from that.

Part of the new agreement between actors' unions and movie/tv studios is that actors get a certain % of profits from after-market materials that utilize the likeness of actors and actresses portraying them. Most of the time it's in a form of a one-time licensing fee or it can be a percentage of the profits (usually pretty small) per year.
shareNaughty God is right . Every renegotiation of contracts up the % of royalties for reruns, merch, etc. For the actors. For cash cows like Norman, he has more clout and gets a higher %.
