This is a question I've asked myself many times about a variety of different actors. What do they do when the work dries up? I mean...how does he make money? I understand that he had some money from the work he did previously and that Sarah Michelle Gellar probably still makes a little bit, but does he just stay home with the kids? Anyone have any idea what he's up to?

shareYeah, not surprised. I mean I'd imagine he's at least multi millionaire so if invested properly he could easily live off even a few million for the rest of his life.
shareI find that a little hard to believe. He has made nothing but stinkers as far as movies go, so unless he has family money I don't see him as a millionaire. I haven't ever liked him. Has anyone noticed how goofy he is in movies. I had to laugh at the stupid looks on his face in Wing Commander. It's a good thing he has a wife that can still make money.
shareJust because you didn't like his movies doesn't mean they weren't successful. When I was a teen, he was a hot commodity, all the teenage girls wanted him. He was in some pretty commercially successful films.
shareHis movies don't need to be a success for him to recieve a basic salary for appearing in a tv/film. Also, he doesn't appear to have been living the 'Celebrity Lifestyle' so he may have money invested or enough in cash to live on. Don't forget, if he isn't working, he won't have a lot hanger ons - Agents, managers, security etc.
