Was she with Michelle Williams' mom at Heath's apartment after his death? Is she a friend of Michelle?

She was and I believe she's the godmother to Michelle and Heath's daughter.

Apparently she was there to meet Michelle whenever Michelle arrived back in NY after the death...the story I read referred to her as Michelle's "best friend".

I kept seeing someone I swear is her at a red carpet event, walking right in front of Heath and Michelle, in footage shown on the Today show. She had red hair. It took me forever to place her as Hope from ER.

I heard they really got to be good friends on the Dawson's Creek set. I think Michelle wasn't as close with the rest of the cast.
