She has the acting chops and range (12 Years A Slave and Game Change), not to mention the nuance and understatement that she brings to every character she plays is raw which makes defines her screen presence.
A detective role would be perfect for her since it's gonna be synthesis of her acting roles and she shines in complex, deep individuals and it's about time that she needs to be a lead in show.

shareAww, that's a shame and the fact that she's brings personality to her characters and not getting a lead role is surprising.
If Mireille Enos wasn't cast as Sarah Linden in US version of 'The Killing', she would be perfect and can easily pull off Sofie Grabol's hardened, daring detective and she looks a bit like her.
If this happens one day, it would be great if she has a new partner every season, pretty much akin to the original version of the Killing. Some of my ideas:
Season 1: Joel Edgerton
Season 2: Michael Kelly
Season 3: David Oyelowo
Season 4: Hugh Laurie
Season 5: Tom Felton
On side note, I think Iwan Rheon would make a great villain, a serial killer role would be cliche but he'll knock it off the park for sure.
