Is that when filming began for People Vs OJ?

I may be wrong, but I believe that she was filming Hotel while also filming OJ.

That is correct. She did film the both of them at the same time.

Season 5 yes, season 6 no.

She was filming AHS: Hotel (season 5) and People Vs O J Simpson at the same time last year.

She was filming AHS: Roanoke (season 6) this year.
