I've never been able to grow a beard in my life, and I'm 50 this year! All I can manage is what I call "bumfluff".

I used to think that, but during the lockdown I didn't shave for 12 weeks and I did grow a full beard, try it you'll probably be surprised.
Women find bumfluff to be quite sensual.

shareIn OP’s defense, theater quality fake beards are incredible. They are made with real beard hair one hair at a time. Since he’s in that world it wouldn’t surprise me since he has access to it. It does look a little too perfect…seems “off”.
Hormone therapy just to grow a beard seems risky. Especially since they’ve shown that beard growth is reliant on genetics and nothing else.
Beard growth is reliant on enough testosterone. Even a woman could grow a beard like that. Is it healthy? No. Does it work. Yes.
Zac Efron is the best example. Dude didn't grow one hair on his face before beefing up for his role in "Baywatch". Now, all of a sudden, he rocks a huge ass beard.
