With how the storylines is going in Law & Order SVU, there's already been a few occasions where he could've at least made a guest appearance, even if it's only for a short period.

Like when Olivia was kidnapped or when Munch was retiring, etc.

Would be nice to see him in an episode again, even if it's only for a few minutes.

I'm sure a lot of the Stabler fans would tune into the episode just to watch that particular scene.

IMDB credits him as being in the upcoming new episode on January 8th.

Warren Leight says IMDB has it wrong, but I am hoping it's actually true and Leight just doesn't want to spoil the surprise lol.

I am over Stabler leaving, but I think a guest appearance would be nice to see anyway, because I really liked the character.
