The train has left the station. Leaving the show was the best thing he could have done. Other than a weekly salary, it couldn't be too gratifying. He's too talented to be stuck doing the same thing week after week.

Even though I loved Elliott, SVU has jumped the shark years ago. True Blood was a bad choice but coming back to SVU isn't smart. Meloni should move on.

He moved on long ago. He was in True Blood and has been in many films including 42 and the upcoming Man of Steel. His new pilot was just picked up by Fox yesterday.

Um. I already mentioned True Blood.

And I said he should move on only because it says he's considering a return to SVU.

Thanks for the info anyways. It's great that he decided not to return. I like him and want to see him playing various characters.

When he said this it was at Comic Con and he won't return. He's having far too much success doing other projects and he's much happier. I think it was the best thing for him to leave SVU. I won't watch the new ones without him but I still think it was good for him to leave so that he can have a variety of roles under his belt.
