An update... he mentions that it's episode 3.11 in his Tweet but that episode's press release was just issued, and it's not the one.
Look for episode 3.12 maybe? Not sure how many they have in the can.
I was so stoked to see Ms. McKellar on "Big Bang." She's so bright, and even
in a Big Bang sort of field! I'd bet anything that she's been a fan of the show.
They even mentioned her in an early episode, as "...that girl from Wonder Years."
I was disappointed in her role on BBT. That role could have been played by many different actresses... I think the episode would have been much better if she had played herself.
As noted, she was referenced in an early episode, and her real-life background (acting, plus her mathematics degree) suggests a possibility for a larger role. For example... Penny gets a minor role in some show also featuring Ms. McKellar, and they end up running lines in Penny's apartment. Ms. McKellar ends up meeting Leonard and Sheldon, when her math credentials come into play (perhaps correcting Sheldon in something?).
I would have liked to see her in a two or three episode story arc where she is a visiting professor who disputes some of Sheldon's theories. She was wasted in the role they gave her.
shareHer Big Bang Theory ep was just on tonight here in Sydney. I didn't recognise her until I looked the ep up on imdb. They could have used her more in this ep. Maybe she'll pop up again. She looks wonderful.
