Didn't she get her PhD in math?

I thought I remember reading that she completed her PhD in math. No mention of it in her bio. Anyone know?

Here's a nice article on her math skills:

Here's her research paper:

Kudos to her. My mathematical claim to fame is my ability to balance my checkbook each month!

No, she didn't. She got a bachelor's. She worked on a nice little paper with a professor of hers at UCLA (not her paper, but one on which she worked).

Please read and pay attention to what I wrote before posting a reply.

Too bad her racy pictures in Maxim don't help in getting the book's message across. The purpose of her book was to get more girls into math.

John Allen Paulos wrote that he knew really bright girls in college (his students) who avoided math and business courses because they found them to be unfemenine. OTOH, many college men of average and even below-average intelligence pushed themselves to take and pass a few technical courses, which left them better prepared for the job market. Danica's book is meant to help reverse this situation.

A bachelor's degree in math is an accomplishment! Anyone that graduates university should be proud of themselves so I don't see why anyone would want to put down Danica!
