For being a Zionist

reply

What's wrong with being a Zionist?

reply

Oh, so you support a genocide. got it.

reply

Zionism
Jewish nationalism, the movement which supported first the re-establishment of a Jewish homeland and now supports the continuation of a Jewish state in Israel.

And their enemies:
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei called Israel a "cancerous tumour" that should be removed from the region

reply

Yes, that is what Bill Maher is. He claims to be an atheist, but shills for Israel.

reply

Can't one support Zionism without being Jewish?

reply

Of course one can. This guy shills for Hamas.

reply

Oh, so you support raping women until they die. Got it.

reply

Talking-Point Alert.

reply

Do you have a link to just the Maher/Winkler interview? I don’t want to listen to someone's commentary on the interview. I'll make up my own mind on who got owned.

reply

Agreed. I went to watch the video a and was immediately turned off by the title telling me how to perceive the Winkler-Maher conversation. I don’t trust any media interpretations anymore because they inevitably turn out to be fake when you go to the first hand source.

reply

So true, I don't mind op-ed editorials but I'd like to at least watch the full interview then get to the op-ed.

That being said, I watched about 10 minutes of this exchange between these two and I don't even think I would call this a "debate". They were just talking about the situation in Israel and giving their opinions on it. No one was trying to sway the other, nor were they aggressively trying to score political points. Well, for what's its worth, here's the clip I watched - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYB3GUlzskk

if anyone can post the full interview, go ahead and do it.

reply

The Fonz has been slipping since he took off the leather jacket. I bet he can't even do that jukebox thing anymore.
