What an insult..they could have at least did an RIP Turd Ferguson for comedic value.

Didn't even think of that. Yeah, they should've put him in the list. Was he disqualified because he wasn't an Academy member or something stupid? I don't know the rules.

Maybe he just ruffled too many feathers by popping his little mints on The View or some other such hilarious bit of Norm MacDonald-ness.

The Oscars have become completely irrelevant and idiotic, but their "In Memoriam" segment has sucked for many years. They always leave out at least a few notable performers, while including publicists and agents the public has never heard of. The best memorial montage is always the one on TCM.
