Why does she have fans? I'll concede she's pretty, but other than that, I don't get it. I've seen her in plenty of films, but other than Third Person (which I thought was great, though I know a lot of people didn't like it), I can't say I've thought much of her performances.

Just curious. The question pops into my head every time I see someone write "I'm such a Mila Kunis fan" -- the latest was while browsing the American Psycho 2 board -- not done with this film yet, but it seems really terrible so far (about a half hour in).

If you happen to be Mila and stumble across this, please don't take this personally. I'm not trying to criticize you, rather to understand your appeal so I can better appreciate your work.

Very relatable.
Girl next door type of thing is appealing to many people.
Kaley Cuoco is similar.

She's hot, that's why.

She's also a perfectly likable actress with good screen presence who seems down to earth and is funny AF on Family Guy.

That Oz movie was terrible and she was hopelessly miscast but other than that she's fine and I'm happy to let her do her thing.

I wasn't thinking of Family Guy. I don't watch a lot of it, it's a bit too bang-you-over-the-head for me, but her voice acting in it that I've heard has been quite good.
