I can picture him playing Thomas Jefferson

Don't get me wrong; Stephe Dillane was magnificent as Jefferson in the John Adams miniseries, but it occured to me that if HBO or somebody were to do with Jefferson's life story what HBO did with Adams and, for whatever reason, they were to re-cast the part, I can totally see him playing the author of the Declaration of Independence.

(BTW, it's also funny because in "Angels in America" he references Thomas Jefferson in the final scene.)

I think that is a great idea.. reading your post, I went to google Thomas Jefferson pictures and realized two of them have same nose, eyebrows and mouth! He'd be a beautiful Mr. Jefferson..

I can also see him as Percy Bysshe Shelley, or George Gordon Byron.
But probably Thomas Jefferson is better role because more people would love him for acting such respectable figure.
